Dear world, as much I enjoy the Medium experience, the lack of the search function in Medium is driving me nuts.

With that, I’m moving to SubStack, where I will continue to share my knowledge and learnings with the world at no cost.

After the exam, I found this resource with startling accuracy to the questions I had. Hopefully it will be helpful for you!

General concepts

Machine Learning = supervised learning + unsupervised learning + reinforcement learning

A model is an extremely generic program, made specific by the data used to train it.

Building apps is not easy, and many developers understand that its going to be fast and furious — if you don’t build it fast enough, your boss is going to be furious.

It’s a race against time going through waves of iterations and development sprints. …

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning may sounds like a complex and daunting subject, but let me assure you, once you get the basic idea behind it, grasping the rest of it will be like cake by the ocean!

Try this

To start of with some interactive materials, let’s get our hands wet…

If you have on-premise windows servers, that are going to end-of-life support, meaning you will no longer receive support from Microsoft on them, what do you do?

Well, you can:

  • Take the risk and continue running them, hopefully they don’t get cyber-attacked/break down frequently like the Singapore trains
  • Migrate them to newer versions, on premise or in the cloud

If procrastination is a competitive sport, perhaps I can qualify for the national games.

Okay that is probably overly exaggerated, but I also recently discovered this, which in our daily process of working and collaborating with others, it can come in quite useful as a reminder and general guidance of how we can approach a piece of work, be it to delegate, delay, or JUST DO IT right now.

If it takes less than 2 minutes to do it, for example to reply a quick email, just do it now, don’t delay it!

Attended a webinar on this topic and this is something I resonates with a lot. Here are my notes on this topic, hopefully it will be helpful to you as well.

A personal board of directors is..
