If you have on-premise windows servers, that are going to end-of-life support, meaning you will no longer receive support from Microsoft on them, what do you do?

Well, you can:

  • Take the risk and continue running them, hopefully they don’t get cyber-attacked/break down frequently like the Singapore trains
  • Migrate them to newer versions, on premise or in the cloud

To ease some of your administrative burden, AWS can help you on the second option, and move and upgrade your apps to AWS!

For more information, you may refer to this white paper: https://d1.awsstatic.com/windows/AWS_EMP_WindowsServer_Whitepaper_V2.1.pdf

Truth to be told, I’m just like most people, being an avid procrastinator.

I just pushed back my motorbike lesson by anther week. Well, today is the public holiday eve! I deserve to relax a little!

If procrastination is a competitive sport, perhaps I can qualify for the national games.

Okay that is probably overly exaggerated, but I also recently discovered this, which in our daily process of working and collaborating with others, it can come in quite useful as a reminder and general guidance of how we can approach a piece of work, be it to delegate, delay, or JUST DO IT right now.

If it takes less than 2 minutes to do it, for example to reply a quick email, just do it now, don’t delay it!
